Webster TS400 Conference PC Whiteboard

The Webster TS 400 is a 3’x4’ landscape format PC Whiteboard in the Webster Professional Series.  The Webster Professional Series is the premiere line of whiteboard products from PolyVision Corporation and includes all of the capabilities found in the standard line of Business Series whiteboards.  In addition Professional Series whiteboards have some advanced features including LED indicators, touchscreen projection support, forms and overlays, and multiple board tiling.

The Webster 400 connects to a PC through a standard serial communications port and records everything written on it.   From there the information can be filed, printed, e-mailed, faxed, or shared in real-time with remote participants*.  (*Requires data conferencing software, not supplied.)

The Webster 400 is designed to replace traditional whiteboards in conference or training rooms where a large whiteboard is desired, and will run on all IBM^® compatible, Pentium 120 PCs or better running Windows^® 95, 98, and NT 4.0 or higher.   When additional writing space is needed, up to four boards can be linked together to create up to 48 square feet of active writing area.

All Webster whiteboards are extremely easy to install and use, and come complete with all the accessories that are needed to use the board with your PC: software application, power supply, serial port cable, eraser, 4 standard dry erase markers, cubicle and wall mount fasteners.  An optional roll-around stand is available for applications that require mobility.

Webster TS600 Conference PC Whiteboard

The Webster  TS600 is PolyVision Corporation's newest and largest format (4’x 6’) PC Whiteboard in the Webster Professional Series.

Webster Applications

Applications for Webster fall into two general categories: personal use and group use. Personal use applications are single user applications (i.e., the user works within their own office without additional participants). Group use applications involve using the Webster whiteboard to support group activities such as brainstorming, presentations, training, teaching, or teleconferencing.  

Group Applications

Brainstorming
When you can print what you write on the whiteboard, you’ve essentially eliminated the need to take notes. As a result, your audience can now pay more attention. Webster provides this capability. And everyone can leave the meeting with a complete record of everything that was written on the whiteboard via printed copies or e-mail.

Presentations
Webster can be used as an input device for an LCD projector. Everything that you write on the Webster PC Whiteboard can be projected onto a large screen using an LCD projector. This is valuable if the whiteboard is being used to address large audiences that might not otherwise be able to satisfactorily view the presentation.

Professional series whiteboard have touchscreen capabilities allowing users to control their PC entirely from the whiteboard. Project you desktop onto the whiteboard and your finger now acts as a mouse. Annotate the screen at anytime in any application to make a point and the software automatically saves the annotated image for later viewing and distribution.

Teaching
- In-the classroom - Webster PC whiteboards provide a vehicle that enables teachers to leverage PC technology in their classrooms.
