Your hardware choice is flexible
The TurningPoint software is available
with a number of hardware and software choices:
ResponseCard IR
is an infrared option ideal for those on a tighter budget. Since it
is IR based it works best in smaller rooms or with smaller groups.
ResponseCard RF
is a radio-based option perfect for small and large groups alike.
Its operating range makes it ideal for all kinds of rooms so if you
think you'll sometimes be working in the assembly hall, for example
during a PTA meeting, then RF is the option for you.
vPad is a
software based option designed for networked PDAs, laptops, tablet
PCs and normal desktop PCs. With vPad pupils can respond to both
multiple-choice and full open-ended questions using a keyboard to
type in their answers.
TurningPoint is also compatible with
hardware systems from some other manufacturers.

Hardware setup is easy
Whatever your hardware choice, you will
configure it in minutes using TurningPoint's hardware wizard. All
ResponseCards now come with USB receivers making them extremely simple
to install.
ResponseCard is compact and robust
The ResponseCard is shockproof, has
sealed buttons to protect it from dirt and spillages and is designed to
withstand long-term use. Being small and light makes it transportable -
up to 36 ResponseCards pack tidily away into an A4 folder.
ResponseCard is designed for
educational establishments
A range of 60m and a maximum of 1,000
keypads per receiver with ResponseCard RF makes it ideal to transport
from the classroom to the assembly hall or lecture theatre for use
during assembly or at PTA evenings.
ResponseCard is backed by a unique
warranty
The TurningPoint warranty covers
damaged ResponseCards as long as the damage was not deliberate. Other
warranties will not cover goods that have been broken after being
dropped.
