"Forest and La Houguette Schools make a SMART Move"
Based in Guernsey, Forest and La Houguette Primary Schools have just had SMART 580 boards and Panasonic projectors installed in every classroom. Partly private financed by the school PTA's and the local business community, the headteachers of both schools see this "state of the art technology" as having tremendous potential to enhance teaching and learning in all areas of the curriculum. Both schools are currently involved in a national pilot of new primary level maths software written specifically for whole class use with interactive whiteboards.
