The Promethean ACTIV Board (TDS ACTIVBoard) uses the latest advances in digital electromagnetic sensing technology in interactive whiteboard technology for education. The ACTIVBoard creates a small magnetic field over the surface of the board, which is activated by holding the specially designed ACTIVpen in proximity of the board’s surface. The ACTIVpen, which requires no battery or charging, reflects a signal back to the board, which is then sent to the computer as an X/Y co-ordinate. At the simplest level the ACTIVBoard can be used as a basic projection screen; however connect it to a PC and LCD projector and you have a truly interactive presentation medium that draws the attention of your class or audience.

The large viewing area makes it ideal for group presentations, e-meetings, teaching and training environments. Three models are available, 64", 78" and 95 diagonal. 

Each board comes supplied with ACTIVprimary,  ACTIVstudio or ACTIVstudio Enterprise software, wall brackets, interface cables, 2 ACTIVpens and 2 years return to base warranty.

The Activboard is based on tried and tested digitiser technology. Promethean AV / TDS have designed and manufactured digitisers for over 20 years.

 

The ACTIVpen  

The ACTIVpen is a truly cordless, battery free pen so there is no need to worry about charging or replacing batteries. The pen controls all the features of the software so there is no need for multiple pens.

Two pens ship with each board and additional pens can be purchased at low cost.

This exciting software package, for 3-11 year age groups makes learning fun.  Bright, colourful and child-friendly, it features a moveable tool bar which pupils love to use and provides you with access to a vast curriculum resource bank of images, flipcharts and diagrams, plus much more.

Activprimary allows teachers to easily plan inspirational lessons across the National Curriculum, which saves significant amounts of preparation time.  The software also integrates with our real-time student response system - Activote, as and can be used with other products such the Activslate and Activwand.

Conceived by a classroom teacher, imaginatively developed as a teaching tool, Activstudio has set the benchmark for interactive whiteboard software that others strive to emulate.  Designed to replicate in digital format what teachers do at the "chalkface", Activstudio enhances whole class interactivity.

The software enables you to easily create electronic flipcharts which may incorporate text, images, video clips, sound and web page content. Flipcharts can seamlessly hyperlink to any other kind of document that you may use in your lessons including Inspiration, Word, Excel or Powerpoint. The software also integrates with our real-time student response system - Activote, and can be used with other products such the Activslate and Activwand.

This 64" Interactive Whiteboard is manufactured at TDS headquarters in the UK and comes supplied with a 3 year on site warranty package. Supplied with wall hanging bracket and two cordless, battery free ACTIVpens.

Has an active area of 150cm diagonal and weighs 27Kg.

Options available - Presenta Board 64 with ACTIVPx software, ACTIV Board 64 with ACTIV Primary Board or ACTIV Board 64 ACTIV Studio software.
