 |
|
MultiPlay and Basic Overlay
MultiPlay is an innovative tool that
allows you to synchronize and playback up to 4 videos in the same window,
analyse and compare them frame by frame and track progress over time. Basic
overlay will enable you to synchronise two video sequences of either the same
performer or two different performers and overlay one over the other, clearly
highlighting differences in technique and body position.
|
 |
|
Drawing and Annotation Tools
Take any frame from a video sequence
and draw and write over the clip. Drawing tools include a distance and angle
measuring tools, straight and curved line drawing, plot points, add vertical and
horizontal grids to enable the user to highlight features of technique and
positioning for analysis.
|
 |
|
Storyboard and Key Position Analysis
Create storyboards as teaching resources or to record progress of a student,
athlete or patient. Storyboards record video comparisons, drawings and added
text and can be built up over a period of time.
In addition key positions can be added to video
with written comments and recorded audio. Key positions can saved as individual
jpeg files or published as a Dartfish
mediabook.
|
 |
|
Video Management
Manage your archive of teaching and training
video footage, categorise your clips in the way you want, sort them by

Live
In the Action provides teachers and pupils with access to immediate
visual feedback during a lesson, allowing them to develop a more objective
vision of performance dramatically increasing their learning curve. It includes
all the features of the Basic package plus real time feedback.
Capture and watch a performance in real time
without interrupting the flow of practice. It is possible for a pupil / student
to perform an activity and receive immediate visual feedback within seconds of
finishing, thus enabling them to repeat the activity with clear visual goals to
achieve. Using the dedicated Streamzap remote control unit the entire capture and playback
process is controlled by infra red remote.
- easy to use delayer feature - delay video
display so that pupils / atheletes can review their performance after they
have completed it without anyone having to handle the laptop or camcorder
- instant visual feedback using the capture
and playback facility operated using infra red remote control
- maximize short term muscle memory by
repeating and refining with immediate feedback
- check progress in real time
- immediately make adjustments to technique
- easily compare with a reference clip
Analyse the Action
After the teaching or training session is
finished or at a later time, analyse and compare an athlete's performance with
him/herself or with other athletes using all the analysis features in the
Connect Package (with the exception of the media book).
- check progress over time
- analyse technique and form in depth
- compare speed and trajectory
- contrast one athlete with another
Dartfish's powerful video teaching and training
tool can be tailored to your needs and budget with the following modules
|

|
Dartfish ProSuite
Probably the most
advanced product of it's type on the market, the Dartfish Professional Suite provides you with
all the features of the Basic package and the Standard Suite plus the powerful video
processing effects of Simulcam and StroMotion. Dartfish 3.0 Professional now
also includes the new Producer module which enables the analysis and publishing
of video content as Macromedia Flash Player files or as web pages.
Dartfish
Pro Suite
provides you with powerful video processing effects to compare a pupil's
performance with him / herself or with that of another pupil, as well as to
breakdown movement and trajectory within an activity.
|
 |
StroMotion & Simulcam Video Processing
See either the same student / athlete
or two different ones whose performances were recorded at different times,
at the same location blended into one video sequence. This enables the teacher
/ trainer to compare a student / athlete's performance with their previous one
or study a true comparison of two different students / athletes.
|
 |
|
Stromotion
See a performance unfold in time and space by compounding video images into
a frame by frame sequence. Technical movements are broken down into separate
images which can be studied and analysed in detail. This can be used to:
- improve accuracy of performance
- analyse the path of a fast moving object such
as an athlete or a ball
|
|
|
Dartfish Media Book
The power of the Media Book module is the ability to
break a movement down into key positions and then for each position to be able
to include a written comment, add drawings to the clip and record a spoken
commentary. The final output can be in the form of a web page or a self
contained Macromedia Flash file which only requires the freely downloadable DartViewer to play it. Analyse performance and send the results by email or
produce a CDROM or web page. Perfect to produce examples of good practice that
can easily be shared within a group of schools or an LEA.
